A new system has been developed to eliminate the need of air in bike tires, while still preventing the common occurrence of punctures, tube replacements, even pressure checks. Designed by Colorado-based Brian Russell, this wheel uses rubber stretched over a series of carbon nano tube reinforced composite rods to provide its cushioning. these rods can be adjusted, changing the tension of the rubber to suit different types of terrain

Royal Enfield to Launch new Thunderbird 500 October 11, 2012

New RE Thunderbird 500

The Royal Enfield will launch new Thunderbird 500 to replace the predecessor which has been hauling RE-lovers across borders and to some of the highest passes in the world.The second generation  Thunderbird 500 will be powered by the same air-cooled single cylinder 4-stroke Twin Spark motor that has been serving the RE Classic 500 and 350 models. Also there are slight modifications in the exteriors also which includes technology and features  like 

• Projector headlight
• Fuel injection
• Gas-charged suspension
• Rear disc brake
• Digital LCD console and lot more goodies.. 

RE announced that there will be two variants for the second generation TB.

The new Thunderbird too will be available in two variants – the 500 and the 350. 

 Pricing wise expect the new Thunderbird to be dearer than its earlier models.Though we really hope RE prices it competitively to offer a good value to the end users considering there aren’t enough affordable cruiser motorcycles in the country today. Equipment levels on the new Thunderbird are top-notch and on paper it sound s like a worthy upgrade to the iconic first generation Thunderbird – couple that to the 20 litres of fuel tank capacity and the new Thunderbird can cover good distances on a single tank full. Launching this Thursday, the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 will hopefully give a boost to the rather diminutive cruiser motorcycle segment in India.

Comparisson & Review:Honda CBR 250 vs KTM Duke 200 vs Bajaj Pulsar 200NS

In this comparison i am going to share my real experiences with you about the three performance bikes that were launched recently.
I want to check all features of these three bikes:- Honda CBR 250, KTM Duke and Bajaj Pulsar 200NS.


Honda CBR 250: The sport-star

Big, broad and bulgy- the baby CBR is Honda’s answer to the performance players in the Indian bike market. It is then, no surprise that the mini-me version of the behemoth VFR1200 made everyone rush to the nearest Honda dealership. Ample power and torque, a trademark Honda engine, linked monoshock, fat tyres and the full fairing that we Indians are suckers for, the Honda has almost everything that makes it every high school kid’s dream. Versatile and the long legged engine made it an instant hit with the touring junta.


KTM Duke 200: The Street Rider

If Decepticons were to attack this planet and had to take form of a motorcycle on sale in the subcontinent; it almost goes without saying that the Duke 200 it would be. Handsome but wicked, with loads of attitude to boot and the eagerness to pounce on anything that comes its way, the Katoom is the bike to own if street cred is priority no.1 on your wish list. Impish, vocal and restless to the core, the bike brings out the boy racer in you. It’ll stare at you till you blink your eyes in defeat. The Orange storm sent everyone into a dizzy thinking on the most appealing Rupee vs Performance graph that has been offered to the Indian biking scene till date.


Bajaj Pulsar 200NS: The Beast Inside

The 200 NS is solely responsible for the commencement of a new era of the fast ageing Pulsar brand. A quick glance at the spec sheet is sufficient to note that the new Pulsar is no less than a rabbit that the blokes at Bajaj have managed to pull out of the hat. Stunning looks coupled with an equipment list that stretches all the way to South Pole, deliciously topped up by a killer price tag, makes the new Bajaj an impeccable offering across the table. Amply tested by the press and online media, the NS has received generally a thumbs-up  by most.

Kawasaki releases New Ninja 300

Kawazaki had recently launched their new fighter in the green line up, that's the new Ninja 300. Let us look the cool features of this green Japanese warrior.

Specifications:- 

• Ninja 300 will be fuel-injected
• Vertical-twin moto
• Capacity : 296 cc. 
• Power :  39 bhp and 
• Torque : 20 ft/lb

It also consists of :-

• Slipper clutch
• Optional ABS (single petal disc front and rear, with dual piston calipers)
• 17-litre fuel tank
• Steel frame
• Six-speed transmission
• Aluminum footpegs.

Wheels are 17-inch units front and rear (with wider 140 mm rear tire), with 37mm standard forks. Curb weight is 174 kilos with ABS, 172 kilos without. Like the 250 Ninja, the 300 draws many styling cues from other bikes in Team Green’s lineup, with a floating windscreen like the ZX-10R, dual headlights similar to the ZX-6R, and a fairing and wheels styled after the ZX-14 – not that anyone’s likely to mistake this for a ZX-14.
The motorcycle comes with a 12-month warranty.
