Due to the rise in the petrol price, Honda is is affected by the lack of a diesel car. Lack of Diesel variant has massively effected the sale figures of Honda City.Honda has announced launch of the diesel variant of Honda City in 2013, but before the diesel City, Honda is planning to launch a CNG variant of the City in the coming month.
Tech Specifications:
- Engine : 1.5 Litre, four cylinder i-VTEC
- Power :100 Bhp
- Torque : 127 Nm(slightly lower than the current petrol only variant)
- Rear suspension will be beefed to handle the extra weight of CNG tank.
- Price: City CNG will cost around Rs. 50,000 - Rs. 80,000 more than City petrol.
World famous Japanese manufactures, Honda is planning to enter in to the diesel segments. Their first experiment is in Brio, the entry level hatch beauty. It is being said that this diesel car from Honda will be in the roads very soon, they are planning the launch in last of this year.
